You will receive our wedding planner to fill out. This planner will include the introductions, order of events, and special dances. We will contact you to review all your details the week of your event. We do everything possible to make sure your special day runs smoothly and your guests walk away with smiles…..

You will talk to your DJ directly, while going over your event in detail. We will go over the event with you and customize everything including the mood and the theme. Our disc jockey will go over the wedding party announcements and special dance before your wedding day. We minimizing vulgarity in songs with explicit lyric by using radio edit songs. Don't forget, we do take and play your requests! You also get to choose the level of crowd interaction, from low to high profile. Let us get motivate the crowd onto the dance floor and keep the energy up high. We can even provide games and or contests for your event if you would like. We will check in with you throughout the night to make sure everything is running smoothly. We also act as the MC for your entire event! Included in all of our wedding packages are the announcements and any other announcements for contests, games, etc.

My name is Tony Knight and I Thank you for inquiring about our wedding services. I started working as a manager and disc jockey with Hot Traxx DJ Karaoke Service, in the Fall of 1996. I’m originally from the Washington DC and Maryland area. I majored in music at Catholic University for four years. I spent my earlier music career as a musician performing on drums, sax, and flute in various bands. The bands I perform with bands played jazz, blues, soul and rhythm & blues. I performed in band from Providence, Washington DC., Maryland and Virginia.

My disc jockey career started in the Maryland area. I worked with the largest disc jockey company in the tri-state area (Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia). During those five years, I was promoted to a “Deluxe Deejay�? status and with the promotion came the luxury of doing a lot of the high profile jobs. One of my regular monthly performances was playing at the Republican Social Club on Capitol Hill for their theme “TGIF�? party. I performed two weddings on every Saturday for ten months per year during my employment in Maryland.

In addition to the above experience, working for Hot Traxx contributed to my successful career as a disc jockey performer. Hot Traxx trained me further for night club mix and programming this was an added advantage. I believe the combination of training and experiences made me unique in performing wedding. My knowledge of the following music brings repeat business back to Hot Traxx DJ Karaoke Service: Big Band, Jazz, Oldies, Adult Contemporary, Rock, Soul, Hip Hop, Rap, Country, Top 40 Current, and Alternative.
